The Allen-Forrester Band is a collaboration between New York guitarists Ben Forrester and Josh Allen. Influenced by the pioneers of southern rock like the Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Black Crowes, and Blackberry Smoke, the two give the classic twin guitar sound a new coat of paint and combine their influences into a rousing mix of crisp blues rock and melodic southern Skirt.
The Allen-Forrester Band's live shows not only live from the band's classic American retro sound and Josh Allen's rough blues voice, but also from the band's enthusiasm and art of improvisation, which, in addition to the two American guitarists, also includes the German Rhythm Section (Hendrik Herder on bass and Matthias Böhm on drums) makes their contribution.
With their brand new studio album under their belt (to be released on April 21st), the band will tour Europe for the fourth time in May 2023 - a must for all fans of American blues and rock!
