<p>Here it is, the ninth album from the “oldies” The Keltics.<br>After five studio CDs, two live CDs and one ballad CD, the first album “9”, recorded entirely with their own composed and texted songs, was released. The CD was recorded, mixed and mastered at Echolane Recording Studio at the end of 2021.<br>„We've been on the road for 30 years now and spreading funß and delight in Irish folk rock. If you haven't seen us live yet, you've missed something. The pandemic has forced us to break new ground,” said the singer and veteran of the band, Thys Bouma. “We were completely “underplayed”, as was the entire music scene, and we suddenly had time. We made the best of it and worked on our own ideas. None of us would have thought that a whole album would come out of it.<br>Unfortunately there was a problem. How should we pay the production costs?<br>During the pandemic there were no opportunities to perform, so the costs for the production of the CD could only be covered by successful crowdfunding. A big thank you to all’ our fans for their financial support.<br>We are very happy about the result and hope that you will remember the lyrics well so that we can have a nice choir for the coming live season have in the audience. ;-).”</p>
