Janis Neteler studied with Prof. Ulrich Müller in Osnabrück and Prof. Johannes Monno in Stuttgart. During this time he took part in a large number of master classes and competitions. He received musical impulses from the greats of the guitar scene such as Zoran Dukíc, Hubert Käppel, Judicaël Perroy and Margarita Escarpa and is a prizewinner, finalist and semi-finalist at international guitar competitions.
Janis Neteler's repertoire includes solo and chamber music works from all eras. He also gives concerts regularly in duet or trio with flute, violin, cello or voice. His repertoire for guitar and orchestra includes works ranging from A. Vivaldi's Concerto for Lute and String Orchestra to 20th-century works such as MM Ponce's Concierto del sur.
On his debut CD "Selection" there is a mixed program from the Renaissance to the modern age. Fine baroque dance movements meet virtuoso variations and impressionistic color worlds. An entertaining CD to immerse yourself in the versatile sound world of the classical guitar or to rediscover well-known pieces.
