On this unique album, field recordings - i.e. sounds from special places and hidden everyday noises - and guitar works from the 20th century are juxtaposed. The contrast between guitar sounds and noises opens up spaces for your own images, associations and feelings.
In addition to the incomparable "Nocturnal after John Dowland" by Benjamin Britten, there will be compositions by the Japanese composer Akira Ifukube and the Azerbaijani composer Frangiz Ali-zade, among others. In this way, the spotlight falls on the most diverse musical traditions of the 20th century.
