Mr. Hurley & The Powder Monkeys take the audience on an arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr treasure hunt in the depths of the Caribbean at the time of Henry Morgan, Blackbeard & Co. The repertoire of the three pirates Mr. Hurley, Buckteeth Bannock and the one-eyed Morgan includes an adventurous mixture of their own humorous songs, traditionals from Irish folk, shanties, evergreens from the good old pirate films and calypso island music. If you have the opportunity, you should definitely drop by for a mug of rum at one of your numerous concerts. Their varied shows are danceable, sometimes historically instructive and above all very entertaining.
