Berthe writes acoustic pop songs on guitar. The arrangement remains reduced to the essentials; the music contains things that have been lived through, things that have been collected and a good dash of melancholy. But above all this is the great love for melody... “For me, beautiful music – music that touches me to the core – often consists of very little: a special, simple melody or a single note in the right place. Finding that essence of beautiful music and expressing it through guitar and vocals has been a pleasure for me for as long as I can remember. And if I could manage to preserve this original, deep feeling in the creation of songs and make it accessible to others, I would have come closer to the goal of my dreams." Over time, Berthe has heard many songs out of her guitar. Some of them have now been revised together with singing teacher/singer Seda Devran and producer Pascal Thüring and wrapped in a new guise in the Klanglounge Osnabrück. Berthe's first solo album is called Spreading Peculiar Songs and will be released in November 2022.
