"Pax Nicholas and the Ridimtaksi" is an 11-piece band from Berlin, which performs classic and modern Afrobeat with a good portion of soul and funk under the experienced band leader and showman Pax Nicholas (aka Nicholas Addo-Nettey) from Ghana. The coming together of professional musicians from Berlin and West Africa in this project guarantees rousing grooves and a perfect show. Ridimtaksi has been active in this formation since 2008 and has played in the Berlin locations of Pfefferberg, Acud, Bar 1000 and in October 2010 as the support act for Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings (Daptone) at Huxle's. The repertoire consists of Nicholas Addo-Nettey's own compositions and highlights from the program of Fela Kutis Afrika 70.
