"Rucksack, bricks, Spree or life?" The "Elbsegler" asked himself this question and it was also the starting signal for the work on his debut album "Flussstatt Land", in which he tries to answer this question.
In his songs, the Hanoverian singer-songwriter describes authentic episodes from his life from his youth to the present day. The central figure Elbsegler moves in the cosmos Hanover. If you take your time and get involved with the album, you will be taken on an exciting journey with an emotional sea.
In the end, the album makes you want to go to sea, because the story of the Elbe sailor is far from over. Inspired by the beginnings of Britpop, the Elbe sailor taught himself to play the guitar. In the course of time drumming lessons followed with the Hanoverian jazz drummer Albi Husen, who now, many years later, supported him as a producer, arranger and good friend during the recording of the debut album "Flussstatt Land".
The Elbe sailor left nothing to chance for his album. For some songs he brought illustrious guest musicians on board, including Christoph van Hal on trumpet in "Leinen los" and Andreas Jäger on jazz guitar in "Minou". For the Elbe sailor, there's more to a successful album than just the music heard the work for him was not finished with the recordings in the studio.
In a homage to art, photography and design, the singer-songwriter created the Elbsegler with loving attention to detail.
