Rarely is one surprised by the music these days. You've heard most of it in one way or another before. Not so with "Body Of Your Dreams" by JacobTV (Jacob Ter Veldhuis) in the exemplary interpretation of the guitar duo Reichelt & Nissen. The Dutch composer has broken down an American TV commercial for a fitness belt into sound snippets and composed an electronic sound collage that is played back by the audio player and to which the guitar duo has to play notated parts. Result: A fascinating work that surprises, exposes and still swings. The latter is thanks to the young, brilliantly harmonizing guitar duo, who present the work with perfect timing and sensitive design. With great empathy, expressiveness and passion, Luisa Marie Reichelt and Johann Jacob Nissen also interpret the other works by Mertz, Castelnuovo-Tedesco and Piazzolla through to Franz Schubert's Impromptu op. 90, no. 1, which they also arranged for 2 guitars themselves . – A debut that deserves to be heard!
