The pianist Klemens Kaatz presents his new solo album "Speaking in Keys". In his own instrumental compositions he tells musical stories, poems, anecdotes and aphorisms. They are pieces that speak, acoustic narratives that seem to have a life of their own. The music is inspired by Balkan folk music as well as fusion jazz and modern classics. Sometimes it sounds weird and scratchy, sometimes light and lively, sometimes opaque and gloomy, sometimes rhythmic and tempting to dance, and it's always beautiful.
