Regular price €18,95 Piano Pentagon - this term associates color mixtures of musical perceptions from the sound palette of five well-known composers of the classical piano literature.
Corner 1: Polyphonic bridge It begins with a prelude and a fugue from Johann Sebastian Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier, a compositional idea that is primarily at home in the Baroque period, but can also be found in other epochs in a transformed form. This is how the polyphonic bridge to Romanticism and Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy guides us. Corner 2: Singing keys Here we find a selection of Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's wonderfully "sung" piano songs, which also tell musical stories without words. Corner 3: Poetic microcosm We dive into the romantic musical world of the piano poet Frédéric Chopin, a multidimensional microcosm of brilliance, dance, melancholy, night dreams and cheerful cascades. Corner 4: Nature We are invited to take a walk in nature from a selection of Robert Schumann's forest scenes. Corner 5: Appassionato Our Pentagon tour comes to an energetic end with a passionate storm penned by Alexander Scriabin. The variety of musical ideas and energies that are exchanged within the 5 corners can be viewed and experienced individually or in relation to one another. The German-Bulgarian pianist Maria Kiosseva, recognized by the press for her "flawless virtuosity" and "sonic sensitivity" (Ludwigsburger Zeitung), has performed in various concerts and festivals in Bulgaria, Germany, Mongolia, the Netherlands, France, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Austria, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, the Ukraine and the USA (as a solo pianist in Carnegie Hall, New York). Her work as a soloist with orchestras includes performances at Ludwigsburg Castle, Jevpatoria Pushkin Theater, Novi Jicin Theater, Bunka Kaikan Tokyo, Sofia State Academy of Music, Forum Ludwigsburg, Sliven Theater etc. She has received over 15 awards from competitions in Europe and North America and participated in recordings of the Bulgarian national television and radio, the 3 SAT television, the Bavarian radio, the "Plush Musik" television (England), the "Classic FM" radio, the "Alma Mater" radio as well as in various CD productions .
