Along with the beginning of the corona pandemic and the associated restrictions, the compositional work for the album "Sundance Vibrations" began in March 2020. What was initially planned as a pure distraction during the time without performances developed into an ambitious full-time job for Arndt Worbis. This album is the result of more than two years of development and production process. "I am very happy that good friends and great musicians have supported me with their creativity and musicality and have made a significant contribution to the success of this album," says the musician in the 8-page CD booklet.
Elements from jazz, funk, Latin, pop, R&B and blues unmistakably provide the basis for the eleven tracks  of the album, all penned by the guitarist. Intoxicating grooves, catchy melodies, spherical pads and sophisticated horn and string arrangements form the musical backbone of "Sundance Vibrations". They run like a red thread through the entire album. Despite all the stylistic diversity and contrasts, the band manages to create an independent sound without claiming to reinvent the genre.
Few productions from Germany are so internationally oriented. It is clearly audible that a lot of time was spent on the entire production process and that work was done in detail. "Sundance Vibrations" is the perfect companion for the sunny days of the year, which the atmospheric cover of the 66-minute long player already gives a foreboding hint to.
The band's musicians know not to stage themselves. Rather, they always put their skills at the service of the music and impressively manage to use the momentum for themselves. The band confidently ventures into different musical terrains within the album while maintaining their overall sound. Sometimes the pieces sound loungy and chilled like in the title track "Sundance Vibrations", which describes the course of the sun onomatopoeic, sometimes they shuffle downright cinematically like in "The Legal Shift" or groove like in "Funky Point". Sometimes they sound reduced like in "7th Heaven", or are strongly influenced by the blues like in "Sad And Blue". Fans of Latin ("Nightcrawling"), R&B ("Mister Breeze"), or pop ("Métro") will also get their money's worth. With the titles "Drippin'" and "Smooth Jam" hypnotic borrowings from acid jazz are unmistakable. The lyrical jazz ballad “No One Like You” forms a counterpoint. But it also fits harmoniously and logically into the overall picture and forms the  conclusion of the album.
