Rock 'n' roll is dead? think! With roots deep in the hard rock of the 70's and 80's, the Steve Link Band delights with freshly imported clean guitar rock 'n' roll. Strongly inspired by his idols Gary Moore and Status Quo, Steve Link and his band convince as a songwriter with clear guitar riffs and lyrics that stick in your head with very catchy lines and immediately encourage you to sing and dance along. Band founders and namesake Steve Link, Martin Huke, Jörg Rosenberg and Ulli Schober have been playing together in this formation since 2015. In the first season they rocked various open air festivals in Lower Saxony and made the audience dance and sing. The winter months 16/17 were used to produce the first disc in Kai Schwerdtfeger's Echolane Studios and now to release it via Timezone Records Osnabrück. By the way, none other than Don Airey (his character keyboardist with Deep Purple) insisted on refining three songs from the current album - "When", "The One" and "Welcome The Sun" - with his grandiose playing on the Hammond organ . The Steve Link Band bridges the gap between commercial pop music and hard rock admirably. Classic rock at its finest! Fresh and current!
