Good things can appear out of the blue. And they do, even if the world is caught in time and the past two pandemic years are more than blurred in memory. The initial spark came out of the blue and new compositions and texts were created by Klaus Ignatzek and Susanne Menzel, who not only appears here for the first time as an extremely talented lyricist, but also as a composer. The two well attuned musicians wrote the songs for this album within a few weeks. These are miniature reminiscences of places visited, moments experienced or encounters, often written in words and sounds.
Together with the outstanding jazz musicians Florian Trübsbach (sax), Sven Faller (b) and Christian Schoenefeldt (dr), they have developed and experienced fantastic musical moments over the past 5 years, which can now be found on this album. Colorful chords, energetic improvisations and rhythms, sometimes powerful, calm or elegiac, create a variety of different moods. As individual as the artistic strengths of each band member are, the common spirit and mutual musical support at the moment are absolutely in the foreground
