“Cream Of The Crop” turned out to be a funky, groovy record with a number of slow blues pearls. There is a fat R&B sound, with horns and Rhodes piano and all baffles. This new album is a stunner in every way: consistently great vocals, dim saxophone passages and Freischlader's guitar, which comes along in the best B. B. King manner.
Henrik Freischlader has put his stamp on all of the songs: The ten tracks on "Cream Of The Crop" all come from his pen. Tommy Schneller acted together with Henrik Freischlader and keyboardist Gregory Barrett as a copywriter.
“Cream Of The Crop” has turned out to be a great and entertaining record.
